I take deep satisfaction in providing a grounding presence that allows families to feel cared for and confident. I believe that everyone has their own unique birthing journey, and I will support your birth choices unconditionally. I happily welcome families of any background or configuration including LGBTQ+ and single parents.



Services include:

A free consultation to discuss desires for your birth, talk through the care I provide and see if I’m a good fit for you and your family.

1 to 3 in-home prenatal visits to prepare for your birth, get to know each other and cultivate how I can help you have your most satisfying birth. In prenatal visits we can:

Explore preferences, questions and concerns

Work together to create a birth preference plan

Plan how I can support your loved ones as they support you

Learn about and try movement, positioning and other comfort measures for ease and progression of labor, drawing from doula and yoga techniques

Prepare for the postpartum time

Talk through the nuts and bolts of labor and its variations

Delve into anything else you’d like to -- most importantly, my care is tailored to your unique needs

Unlimited phone, text and email support. I welcome questions, and I'm here to supply you with evidence based information and resources.

On call 24 hours a day from 38 weeks to 42 weeks of pregnancy.

Referrals to community resources.

Continuous labor support. Once you're in labor and ready to have me join you, I will provide continuous support until your little one has been born and you’re settling in, usually about 2 hours after birth. My labor support includes:

Physical support, offering positioning and movement options, acupressure and soothing touch, as well as rebozo techniques and hydrotherapy, to promote progression of labor and to provide rest and nourishment.

Emotional support, helping to maintain a birthing space in which you feel confident, respected, comfortable and at ease; offering various coping techniques and reassurance through intense parts of labor, supporting your partner as s/he supports you.

Informational support, Discussing medical options if they arise and supporting you and your partner in seeking objective information from your doctors, midwives or nurses.

Practical support, taking care of background things like grabbing you or your partner a snack, dealing with parking or arranging childcare, so that you and your partner can be fully present in your birthing experience.

Photography, while I’m not a trained photographer, I have lots of experience taking birth photographs, and I offer birth photography at no extra cost!

An in-home visit in the first weeks after birth to reflect and provide referrals.
$950 birth doula fee.
